Booking Conditions

On rare occasions the Injalak Rock Art Tour may have to be cancelled or postponed due to
cultural obligations, please check with Injalak Arts 24 hours prior to your tour. A full refund will be issued if tour is cancelled.
1. Injalak Rock Art Tours are for moderately fit persons only.
2. Tours are only confirmed if you have made payment. If you have not made or arranged payment the tour is not confirmed.

By making payment to partake in this tour all participants must read and understand the terms and conditions set out above and disclaimer as set out below:

Disclaimer
You agree to indemnify Injalak Arts Inc, Board and all staff from and against all claims, actions, suits, demands, liabilities, costs or expenses, losses including consequential losses, whether arising directly or indirectly from participation in the Injalak Rock Art Tour.

Our Liability to you is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Injalak Arts Inc excludes all liability for direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages, injury or losses.

Participation on the Injalak Rock Art Tour is permitted only with your agreement to above conditions.

Injalak Arts Inc strongly recommends adequate travel insurance.

Cancellation policy
In peak season the Tours are in high demand. A full refund is given if cancelled more than 72 hours prior to the tour. A 50% refund is given if cancelled at shorter notice than 72 hours.

Getting to Gunbalanya

Travelling by road to Gunbalanya from East Alligator Ranger Station requires crossing a river that is seasonal and also affected by tides. We suggest you check tide times for Cahill’s Crossing prior to arrival.

Permits

Permits to visit Gunbalanya must be arranged in
advance via Northern Land Council in Darwin or Jabiru.

Tour Times

Please be at the art centre by 8.30 am for an 8.45 am start.
Tours are approximately 2.5 – 3 hours in duration.

Cost

$110 per adult and $33 per child (under 18).
Pensioner concession $77 (please present your pension card to receive this discount)
Maximum adults per group 12.
Bring: Good walking shoes, water, hat, insect repellent and sunscreen.
Guides: Each group is led by a trained and experienced local guide with detailed knowledge of the rock art sites you will visit.
Customised Tours: Contact us if you want to book a group or require an alternative time for your tour, we will endeavour to accommodate you.
Injalak Rock Art Tours operate only in dry season when the art centre is accessible by road.
Tours do not operate on Sundays or Public Holidays
